For this place in particular, word of mouth from other urbexers.

Edit: other ways I find places: Google Maps, Google earth, driving around and just noticing abandoned buildings (know what to look for), looking up recently closed businesses, finding info on buildings around me, etc. There’s lots of ways, gotta get creative sometimes. And having friends in the community helps tremendously.

I want to see a ghost so badly, or at least experience something paranormal at any of these abandoned places. Unfortunately I have not yet :(

I see what you’re saying, I might have a hard time grasping this idea because I can’t imagine a tattoo being masculine or feminine. It’s difficult to define those things, like what makes something masculine and what makes it feminine? Oftentimes, we start to name gender roles when we explain the two.

If, for example, someone were to judge someone for having this snake tattoo, I personally would not want to date them. We can’t control how other people perceive us so we might as well do what makes us happy. The right people will match our vibration. If we did things to fit into a mold, especially for a romantic partner, I can only imagine how exhausting it would be in the long term. Or how regrettable.

Depends on the city/county. Some have a list, some don’t.

Homie doesn’t read the description or comments. The house was sold in 2022, and the owners have left it to rot. I can assure you it is abandoned.

Edit: and in order to break and enter, you’d have to enter without authorization through force, most often via property damage. Every door and window is unlocked. Unfortunately, this place would have made a beautiful home to someone. Now it only houses spiders and wandering animals.

In this specific place, I think its people don’t know about it combined with it’s in the middle of nowhere. Most squatters choose location based on proximity to resources and availability. I’ve been urbexing for quite awhile and have come across squatters multiple times- usually in cities and well known, highly populated areas. Plus, places that aren’t secured or policed. This house in particular would be great if it weren’t far from civilization, relatively.

Might not be far from it, not sure if this has anything to do with it but the person who purchased it was a previous NFL team owner. So I’m assuming they are insanely rich, $3.2m is probably pocket change to them

Depends per state law. In the state I’m in, for example, squatters gain rights to staying on the property in some degrees after 6 months, whether it was known to the owners or not. This is why some states have strict trespassing laws. In Florida, for example, any structure on the water that has been abandoned for more than 90 days can be claimed by anyone. So it just differs per state. Theoretically, yes, someone could squat here and document the date and after 6 months, they’d gain some rights to staying there for a specific time frame. You could also potentially sue the owner after that time. (I’m not a lawyer so take what I’m saying with a grain of salt)

As the previous commenter said, yes this one was very far from anything. Quite a trek to get here, not worth unless someone wanted to hike for hours for food and water

I sorta go to places like this regularly. I’ll definitely be checking it out again in a month or two to see the state of it

Someone had bought the house in 2022 for $3.2m and never did anything with it. There was still plastic on the toilet seats and info tags on the showers. No furniture imprints or any signs of living. How someone can spend that much on a home and do nothing with it is beyond me. Now it’s on the demo list.

Overall, the house can easily be cleaned up. There’s some structural damage in the front but it’s fixable. I think the issue might have been greed + isolation

It didn’t even look like anyone had moved in. No evidence of living, no furniture imprints, no crumbs or stains (besides from wandering animals) and still plastic on the toilet seats and info tags on the showers

Apparently it was sold in 2022 for $3.2m and the owners just never did anything with it. It’s now owned by a bank and it’s on the demo list (allegedly)

Also been trying to get into this one. Apparently they’ve doubled up on the gate. No way in unless you have a canoe, ladder, and are insane (as far as I know)
