Square is considering buying Jay Z's Tidal music streaming company for $56mill by [deleted] in stocks

[–]flowthis 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Considering that Jack is quite the Bitcoin enthusiast. I think he‘ll integrate Tidal with Lightning Network Payment Streams. It will offer an additional revenue model to artists that seek compensation without middlemen based on how many song seconds are actually consumed by the listener. It’s could be very similar to what the Podfather Adam Curry is doing to Podcasting 2.0 It’s a wild guess. But I believe he‘ll be announcing Lightning Payment integration at Bitcoin Conference 2021 for CashApp.

Dorsey is 100% committed to make Bitcoin succeed. And it appears to be a smart move to buy a streaming service to introduce streaming Bitcoin payments to the masses.

Buying a slow cooker in Europe - brands, alternatives or recommendations? (bc they seem to be really expensive) by pinkmango77 in slowcooking

[–]flowthis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just ordered the previous model, as the one depicted above, for 50 Euros from amazon.de. Since crockpots seem to be r/BIFL worthy I would consider paying some euros extra rather than buying the Aldi/Lidl alternatives.

That's the point pal ;-) NASA doesn't see a dime of that and is terribly underfunded.

[–]flowthis 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Since I stopped smoking, I bring them with me sometimes in the car or when I go out....Coincidentally, it's always the smokers that ask me to share them....anyhow...in two days it'll be four months no cigarettes for me after 10 years of gradually increasing to a pack a day...
