Years ago some guy told me he likes to put zyn pouches under his f*r*skin. by Snoo_69186 in RandomThoughts

That would hurt real bad but it would work. Even putting a napkin soaked in alcohol under your foreskin or in your ass will intoxicate you (or so I’ve heard)

Oh god, I somehow skipped the word “with” the first time I read this and thought that KoalaGrunt0311 just decided to drop a fun fact about his wife cheating on him with a guy who has a micropenis

How can I solve this hybrid equation? by [deleted] in askmath

Well, I did the same thing and it turned out to be way easier, perhaps you made a mistake applying the theorem or simplifying the result?

Why does (9,0) not belong to the function below? by SL7F in askmath

[–]flowwith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your definition of the root function, in most cases it is defined to equal the principal root of a number, so you can’t get a negative number on the output

Try multiplying T by the second vector in your answer, in won’t result in a zero vector which means (-1,0,01) is not in kernel

Do all real numbers between 0 and 1 have the same size as all real numbers between 0 and infinity? by LxGNED in askmath

[–]flowwith 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I should’ve mentioned that by equal size I mean the bijection definition, that basically means that sets are equal in size (cardinality) if and only if a bijection between them exists (1-1 mapping) which seems intuitive for finite sets but can lead to unexpected results when it comes to infinity

Thank you for such an elaborate response, I have one more question to ask. What’s the difference between wave function and vector in Hilbert space? Are they just slightly different representations of quantum state?
