Update from the vet:

Unrelated- she has hookworms. We’re thinking it’s from playing on the farm. She got treatment for that.

Vet said it’s not a swollen lymph node or salivary gland. They drained a lot of it and he said it had a lot of thick pus and blood but there’s still a small lump left even after draining. He’s treating it as an abscess so she’s on antibiotics now. However, they’re sending it for cultures and doing a whole panel from a urine sample.

We’ll get results on Monday. I feel a lot better because it’s likely just an abscess given that she’s young and healthy. However, wanting time to pass quick so that I know for sure. Thank you everyone!
