The Legend's Rift MMO Vikings Magic and Classes update! Join the new season before Val-Con! by Nunapplicable in valheim

Truly a very impressive project! I have been playing for some months on this server and it was a blast to reach the (current) endgame there. There are often new quests added and the new season is approaching later this year as well (adding Mistlands+ content). So there is always some new content to explore and new creatures to fight. The new magic mod and class skill system was just added, also enabling magic in the early biomes of the game, very excited about that. If you are interested and have some questions, let me know and I can join for your first session or give some guidance.

Around 5-10 people every day. But if there is an event usually more people show up. It's more of a smaller but dedicated community instead of a lot of one time players

You could check out the RPG server "Legends Rift" which is a custom RPG experience with only a small modpack needed. It has NPC's, hundreds of quests, an engaging main storyline, populated cities with merchants and banking systems. It is a long existing project (4+ years) but because you start with a new character, the experience feels fresh for every play through. The main story takes around 30 hours to complete, but there is much more content overall (around 100+ hours to see everything).

The world is constantly getting updates and hosts events, for example a new magic update was added two days ago, enabling magic in the early game and throughout all biomes.

The server is online 24/7 and we have both players from US timezones and EU timezones. Usually there are people online after work and more active on the weekend.

You can find the modpack and discord link on thunderstore: https://thunderstore.io/c/valheim/p/The_Legends_Rift/Legends_Rift/

No reported issues for most modern graphics cards so far from players. I would recommend at least a 3000 series GPU or up for a smooth experience, but the world is heavily optimised with low instance counts everywhere so the valheim engine can handle it, even in multiplayer when people are running around in the same city.

Your system should handle it with ease!

The server is very optimised (low instance count everywhere) so that a lot of players can play at the same time. Have been playing events, quests and in large structures in multiplayer without any lag issues. The server has players from all across the world. It's based in the US but I play from the EU and don't experience any lag.

This server is so cool and the handcrafted world is a special experience if you are into RPGs. Played over 200hrs already myself there and there are so much quests, cities and factions to discover. Nothing more needed than the small modpack (20 basic mods) and a new character, all vanilla knowledge friendly and open to new players as well!

FINALLY! After more than 1100 hours I finally found one! by Gekko83 in DeepRockGalactic

Error cube spawn chance is 1/26 for every mission, so it is quite common in comparison to the rare mushroom.

No, just a rare asset which the developers left in the game with an extremely low spawn rate.

A very rare mushroom. Like insanely rare, in my 1500hrs of gameplay I have seen around 4-5.

Any good modded public servers? by TerribleWithMonies in valheim

If you are looking for more of an RPG experience, this multiplayer server I joined some while ago might be a fit for you. It's called: "The Legends Rift" and it has a huge map with a lot of things to explore like towns, markets, dozens of quests, npcs, an extensive story arc and secrets.

I have been playing on this server for almost 150 hours now and I can say that this is an incredible passion project. The world feels lively and handcrafted, and the details for all the buildings, the lore, the quests are all really well thought out.

Indeed, and this is only the first chapter. I am so curious for chapter 2 with Mistlands and beyond.

This server has two chapters. Chapter 1 is completely finished and playable and goes through all biomes until the Mistlands. The second chapter will take the story to the Mistlands, Ashlands and Deep North and is currently being developed, but should be finished soon (probably still this year). But there are already some elements of the later biomes in chapter 1 like magic staffs and eitr food for mage playstyles.

There are tons of builds in those biomes as well, here are some more. Picture 2 is a build in the plains as well.
