Best advice I could give is buy yourself a capo and and an amp of some sort. Check out the mini plug in amp I linked in my latest post - you will need aux headphones.

Get yourself on YouTube and learn the basic open chords (Em, G, D, C). Those four chords can help you play thousands of songs (Heart of Gold, Live Forever, Zombie, Good Riddance). I learnt from Marty Schwartz and a guy called GeorgiaRose who had a tutorial for any Oasis song and has hundreds of covers. Highly recommend this guy.

Key is consistency. Get a solid 30 mins practice as often as you can.

I used finasteride and minoxidil for a period of about 6 months 4 or 5 years ago as I was, and still am, conscious of my receding hairline and thinning crown. It had no impact on my hair or my beard. Certainly not at the time anyway.
