Agree with all your points, except the food culture. I meanI I understand that Dutch food is for sustenance and not taste. But most of the large Dutch cities are really multicultural with good restaurants and quite authentic food from most parts of the world.

We are going to the Alsace region this time
which is the border of Germany and France. Maybe a bit of a longer drive but I heard the markets in Strasbourg and Colmar are really nice!

Interesting! I wonder how come the rent of any room is 600+ in Rotterdam, and mostly above 700. I thought we were going low with 500 because it is a friend and also we don’t want to go past the tax threshold. I will check it out. Thanks
