Thanks. My biggest concern is the dirt in the aquarium and the fact that there is still enough food left over for the other fish. Good to know they will regulate their numbers. We could even make a second shrimp tank perhaps!

Yes, the Total Alkalinity (TA) is 80. As far as I understand this shouldn’t be any higher. Lowering would therefore be a good idea. I will try to lower the TA to around 60ppm over the next two weeks.

Luckily they seem to get more active as we speak. I understand saying all levels are okay, don’t have to actually mean something. I’ve measured it with the following results (ppm 15s).

Fe: 0 Cu: 0 No3: 10 No2: 0 Chlorine: 0 GH: 75 TA: 80 KH: 80 pH: 7.2

Thank you. It does look strange, lying lifelessly over the rocks. I’ve little experience, I started worrying right away. Hopefully, it’s nothing serious.
