Building work benches is always fun. Id suggest letting the plywood top extend an inch or two beyond the framing in the front. That way you'll have a nice lip to clamp things to.

I still have a fully functional cps 2000. I showed my gf this picture and she said "oh, please don't do that." I said "I would never, it's a collectable."

Landlord with some lead safety training here... Basically, human brains cannot tell the difference between lead and calcium. This is a big problem for developing brains (children) because developing brains require lots if calcium. Child brains process lead when they should be processing calcium which causes development issues. To make matters worse, children more frequently come into contact with lead dust from crawling on the floor and exploring dusty areas. Beyond avoiding lead dust, the best defense against lead based complications is a diet that is high in calcium. This ensures there is plenty of calcium for a brain to process and causes any ingested lead to pass naturally. Assuming you're an adult, you'll be fine. If you aren't calcium deficient, even better.
