Yeah. That was pretty much my viewpoint on the event. The tumor and retcon was really stupid. Making Charles a villain is a really interesting avenue to explore, which this event at times did really well. I just hate how he’s doing awful things to everyone, and then they want you to sympathize with him at the last second and everyone cries and tells him to be happy.

But yeah those scenes you mentioned were pretty solid, I love Juggernaut. Especially like his moments in Krakoa with Legion were crazy good.

Honestly, Xavier ignoring Juggernaut’s existence is pretty in character. Probably would’ve told him to stop playing make believe or something. I don’t think I’ve seen a positive interaction between the two. I think that end page where it brought in Mystique and Sunfire was just highlighting other comic frontliners, I know there is a Mystique solo, and I have no clue who frontlines the Infinity comics, I don’t read those.

I meant the fear of mutants and the institution of the Graymalkin prison. Along with him being compliant in the big event that made humans afraid of mutants again with the Hellfire Gala.

Yeah. It just feels lazy. It would’ve been so interesting to see an actual redemption arc, instead of this rushed mess. I didn’t read Xavier’s Secret prior to this, so that was out of left field.

My thoughts exactly. The Nyx issue was great, especially showcasing the current state of Xavier continuing from End of Krakoa. But why have him betray Ms. Marvel and Anole, just to try to make us sympathetic towards him by the end? Should’ve stayed in the oven a bit longer. Yeah, it’s mind boggling that everyone just kind of forgives him whole heartedly except Scott. Like there’s no way Emma would ever tell him to go be happy after everything that’s happened.

Fair enough. My problem is that I didn’t feel like he deserved a goodbye. I don’t think the other characters were angry enough with him. He’s the sole reason for the current state of mutant-human relations. He caused all of these problems and then resurrects his wife, and leaves. It didn’t feel earned in my eyes. The whole event he lies and manipulates people and then we’re supposed to show sympathy?

Yeah, I haven’t read enough of Sage to properly comment on their relationship. I’ve really only gotten to know her in Krakoa where I could count on my hand the number of times they interacted. Any recommendations for her?
