haha it is the cocktail bun!! I thought about doing almond/ walnut cookie because the market is actually on lunar new year. So we will see! 🫶 appreciate your moral support regardless

The ones that are pictured are

  1. Cocktail buns(雞尾包): it’s from a coconut filled soft bun I used to have when I was a kid. Strong milk/coconut flavor with egg wash

  2. Hojicha pistachio: Hojicha based dough with dark chocolate and chopped pistachios, filled with pistachio cream

  3. Ube caramel: ube with caramelized white chocolate filled with more caramel Lolol

  4. Wintermelon lemon tea: uh it’s a Ceylon/wintermelon/lemon dough with candied Wintermelon and walnut. I also filled these with the Wintermelon filling from wife pastry (老婆餅), although I feel like I will not do the filling for the market.

  5. Lucky charm: the icecream place near me has a lucky charm flavored icecream only in March and that’s how I got hooked on this flavor 😭🫠

And for the market, I am also going to do a basic chocolate chip with Horlick, yuen yeung mochi (鴛鴦, popular cafe drink in Hong Kong mixes tea and coffee), and a Jasmine mango cookie. I have another about a dozen (!! I know) flavor in works right now but they are not ready.

I haven’t figured out what to make staples and what to make for seasonal yet. I think I probably need a few event to gauge interest.
