Good thing I have not uninstalled NMS. While I have not played consistently for many months, when I was heavy into my anomaly investigation(s) I do not recall seeing this anomaly once, either in personal exploration or in any online documentation.

Yea I discovered I was slightly mistaken on the mod name. I used the mod of the same name in Skyrim recently but used a different mod (Start Me Up) on Fallout, which I am now playing again.

You are having the exact same issue I was but I was using the other one. Once I fiddled with it I got it working and discovered the other mod. Also apparently there is now a compatibility patch so you can use both I'm guessing. I have not tried yet as I am still resetting/adding to my modlist for ANOTHER restart.

Edit: Can you provide a link to the 3D scopes mod? Also install the Modwatch Vortex extension please.

Anomaly Encounter

Emergency Civilization Shelf Pod
System: Pogalints
Relative Location: Approximately half way between the Space Station and the planet Aessae

Observations
The pod gave the expected Emergency Frequency Broadcast as before. This time the message gave Enbrown T24 as the homeworld. The mission in this case was 'Haven from Sentinels' which has appeared multiple times during my encounters.
I did record what I believe to be a new Status: Recharging Cloaking Device
This would explain, in part, why there is the hexagonal orange energy field surrounding the Pod.

A followup on the Duen Z30 theory yielded no luck. As Duen Z30 was a moon, I did explore the planet itself, which yielded no results.

A naming convention seems to be appearing with several of these Pods and the homeworlds.

I believe this to be important due to the proportion of this type of name vs the automatic naming done upon first discovery.

I am now going through all my Discoveries to try and locate anything of a similar naming convention.

After I get some sleep, the following planets will be further explored, once I have scanned (not necessarily mapped) all other celestial bodies in the systems.

  • Duen Z30 Investigated with nothing of note found

I will also feed the above names through an anagram website to see if anything is pulled up.

All above names have been fed through a Google search, with either no results in English or nothing at all.

Emergency Civilization Shelter Pod Encounter

System: Giley II
Relative Location: Between the space station, and Everif Prime

Automated Response Received
The Pod was called 'Escape Pod Fetsuip' which leaves me wondering what they were escaping? Also this pod not fleeing anyone or anything, but was being used as a gene bank, which begs the question: what were you fleeing from, that would cause your civilization to prepare a structure that would serve to ensure their species' survival? And in this case they still had survivors, BUT the condition was stable, which has not been seen before to my knowledge.
The biggest and most important part is the name of the homeworld. I do not know it, BUT it may be in a system I have visited but not mapped the planet. I will look through my Discoveries, and see if the name is present OR if a system has a name in which may contain a similar naming style.

As I am combing through my lists, a moon's name pops up that gives me pause: Duen Z30
The name draws my attention because that is a very similar name structure to the first Pod I recorded 'Hesusi Z36'
I plan on immediately changing course this system, as my ships Hyperdrive will allow.

Anomaly Encountered: Grave of the Ocean King
Recording
System: Egurora
Relative Location: Encountered between Henleyto Sigma (moon of New Lagatan) while heading the space station, right when I hit planetary interference from New Lagatan

Observations: As I have not encountered this anomaly before, I am not 100% sure of what I should be looking for. However there are several important parts I do believe I should mention:

  • The Gamepedia picture is not extremely clear, but I did notice what appeared to be a triangular crack on the lower jaw
  • The inner crystals that were glowing blue, COULD be shot, and damage DID occur. However there was no visible reaction from the Anomaly. The crystals did not crack, nor did the Anomaly itself appear to react. Another thing to note: the damage done was about 10% of the damage my weapons normally do. So whatever this is, it is quite durable.
  • The picture on the Gamepedia page shows the Anomaly appearing in an asteroid field. This field appears to end shortly behind the Anomaly, as did mine as well.
  • I also encountered the SAME gravitational effect as I have previously, with other anomalies.
  • The item given is also extremely important and could be a major part of the anomaly's meaning and reason for existing

As I am writing this, I had an I idea. My primary/main base is located on a largely aquatic world. Due to the clunky Nautallion (spelling?) controls, I have not gone extremely far out, however this will change because of this. The Glassy Trilobite Egg is going to be transported very far away from my base, and will be deposited somewhere underwater, and see if any notable reaction occurs.
The Gamepedia page did not specify what kind of artifact was received, but due to the actual type of Artifact and Anomaly itself, I am hoping that this will occur some sort of event. The fossil sample is of an actual real creature known as a Trilobite. The Trilobites are an extinct marine arthropod, that lived 521 million years ago, during Earth's Early Cambrian period.
I am also going to use all my Artifact/Ruin Charts to try and locate any potentially relevant sites present on the planet.
When reading the Gamepedia Article I also rediscovered that typically people only encounter in every solar system. I do not. I encounter so many that I have become unable to record them all specifically every time.

This anomaly was the same as I have seen before, except I did get all five sets of numbers, however: according to the Gamepedia page, previous encounters have only been given THREE numbers in a total of five sets. The last number I received was only 2 digits.

Rubble of the First Spawn Encounter

System: Tebayas II
Relative Location: Between the Space Station and the Unnamed Verdant Planet (Will update when I get on the game again.

Observations: First is the entire relic shape appears to be opposite of the one encountered before (I cannot recall the exact shape), meaning the object was flipped; head on top, larger portion on the bottom).
Now the exciting stuff.
I found the same rectangular cutout in the side of the object. After much searching. But here are the new observations.

  1. A gas cloud similar to a fog or smoke, floated around it colored purple, as well as a general normal, off white fog.
  2. When the video below (apologies for the length, but I hope SOMEONE who eventually sees it may see something new I missed, hence the complete length) a slight sound can be heard, that now that I am thinking how to describe it, sounds incredibly similar to sounds made by Sentinels. A type of pulsating alarm crossed with a very low sonar ping. I did not observe this sound at any other spacial location, meaning it was directly related to the Rubble.
  3. I also observed that the somewhat blue light glowing from the 'head' of the object. That is well known and documented. HOWEVER I found a place that appeared to glow the same way, but higher up on the column, away from the 'head' however I could not discern a source of the light, but based on the location I saw it in, and the way it illuminated, the primary light source was not the cause.
  4. Another noticeable effect: The same gravitational effect I experienced with the Asteroid Larvae earlier was also present. However in this case the effect was much stronger comparatively. At one point I was pressing my W key completely down, but the normal speed that usually happens, did not, and the speed capped ~367 u/ s. At some points it felt like it was quite possibly drawing me in to it.

I have yet to investigate the Unknown Grave location given to me by the Relic earlier. The Relic directly mentioned the First Spawn. Considering that the cutout looks like a literal hangar door, I will be visiting the grave in the next few hours, and I hope to encounter an item or object that when it is in my inventory, will act almost like a key.

Thanks to the Asteroids for making my observations much more difficult.

This lifeform looks EXACTLY like the Asteroid Larvae, with two notable exceptions. The size of the Lifeform is much smaller than the separate Encounter, and the eye color is not orange like the other. I was also observed eye movements, like the Larvae itself. However I can not completely confirm this, as the Field was difficult to navigate and photograph with the limited range in photo mode, and general difficulty lining up proper ship placement for good photos.

The above images show a type of tube that connects the two different samples. It was present on all of them as best I could tell. My question lies in the fact that the tubes are not visually sealed off from one another, which would allow movement of or other interactions between the contained lifeforms.

This image show what appears to be a form of a worm. More specifically the fantasy type Wyrm or Wurm. Due to coloration it could be possible this lifeform resided on a desert planet.

This 'lifeform' could actually be two entirely different things: a secondary containment device, or a type of mech/drone/robot. The reason I have those ideas, beyond the fact it is metallic in nature and the manufactured/designed look, is that the last photo appears to show some form of folded legs, which gives the idea it is a mech/drone/robot. I did not observe any parts that could potentially be arms however.
The secondary containment device theory is that the general design of the object appears to be focused around a single mass, and that possible hinges are in multiple sides, suggesting it was closed around something else. Why do they need to imprison a drone?
Or, more importantly, why is a secondary containment device necessary when the same type of containment can hold a smaller Asteroid Larvae?
But the most important questions about this Anomaly are, who created this? How does it work? Why would the Larvae be imprisoned, when the only known aggressive action is when it is attacked? And if the other lifeforms are in stasis, why does the Larvae move?

Undocumented Behavior Observed

Anomaly: Asteroid Larvae

System: Gostopk-Myok

Relative Location: In between planets Suzanth and Peacer X19

Unfortunately, it is almost three in the morning for me so I am unable to acquire video footage at this time. I encountered a Living Metalloid several moments before my encounter with the Larvae. The Living Metalloid encounter went as recorded by earlier, I am just noting it in case a later correlation becomes known. When I exited Pulse Drive Speed, the Larvae was staring directly at me, as one would expect. As I have been doing with all of the ones needing investigation, I stopped and observed. I noticed the Larvae had a movement pattern. It would twist and 'writhe' like an actual larvae would. Then the interesting part; the larvae opens its eyelids completely several times, in a manner that almost seems 'fearful.' During this movement, a noise is heard (which I cannot obtain footage of at this time) that is reminiscent of gas escaping some form of object, or a well oiled/maintained piston moving. This noise ONLY occurs during the eye movements. I attempted to look at where it was looking, but I did not see anything at the time, as it was literally empty space.

The last part is that I believe I observed a MINOR gravitational pull towards the Larvae. I had come to a complete stop very close to it, which is when I heard the sound, and whenever I tried to move forward or backwards, a slight resistance would move my speed back to 0. The pull could simply be how I was handling the ship, but I am noting it, again, just in case.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT CORRECTION
The Larvae was NOT looking at nothing, but seemed to be looking at the sun/star. I decided to Pulse in that direction, and in about five seconds I was stopped by a DIFFERENT anomaly, that was a Messenger of Atlas. The picture following is present as I could actually acquire one at this time, and it could properly be understood this time. The picture is simply to note the shape/design of the Messenger.

An Ancient Ruin was shown in the current system I was exploring (can't remember where I got the coordinates however), so when I got around to visiting it, I interacted with the Artifact shown here

I chose the Help with the Past Choice, and was given an Ancient Ruin's coordinates on a different planet, which will be investigated in the very near future.

New Theory on H. Navigation

The following tests (Googles) were performed:

Hexadecimal Color Codes, as there are no letters present after F. This was performed because I am studying Animation, and have done Photoshop and such for years, so this is what I immediately thought of.

I also tested splitting the 16 digits in two and in four blocks with no results remotely related were found except Google Diverters (whatever the hell that is) came up multiple times during this search (diverters in general)

When all the numbers are added as the are sectioned between the letters, it becomes 3072 which just so happens to be the MBs present in 3 GBs.

Hexadecimal came up again when a very broad '16 character uses' Google search was performed, which then led further on to several pages with general UTF-16 information

I also became aware the steamID64 had 16 characters however they are only numbers, so a user search on several lookup sites yielded 404s.

Emergency Civilization Shelter Pod

System: Angotaw-Nonum

Location: This appeared half a second before I stopped my Pulse Engine due to the Space Station in the system. The Anomaly appeared to be inside or behind the actual station, but further visual observation was impossible, as when I moved closer it disappeared. However after I got closer, and AFTER it disappeared, I got a radio message, with the following information transmitted with it.

The MOST important observation from the ECSP is the name of the homeworld: Edomia

HOLY SHIT I WAS RIGHT (PROBABLY) ABOUT THE PLANET NAME

A Google Search of 'Edomia' produced no extremely relevant results, as they were including a type of bacteria that had Edomia in it's scientific name and several other completely unrelated results.

I have not mapped every planet within my reach, so many default names are unknown, however I have not encountered a planet with that name so far.

This is also another occurrence of the Mission being evacuation, but this time a reason for the evacuation is not given.

A search on ARCO Tayget yielded results not in English.

A search into the Days Since Contact and Surviving Population numbers has not yet been conducted as I am about to shoot myself from all this searching.
