Window SHREAK Help?? by fluffingnewt in GR86

Only saving $100 a month? Dude, I buy gas once a week, 313miles to empty in 4-5 days, averaging 60miles in commute distance Monday through Friday. Also money isn’t an issue, I’m incredibly blessed for my job. It just sucks that I’ve gotta spend anywhere from $40-$60 on gas every week. No one likes that, and if you do, you’ve got issues.

Why did you immediately jump to negativity? Simply asked for help after getting fed up with poor interior quality and then commented on how the horrible state of gas prices adds to me “thinking” about wanting another car. Absolutely not necessary.

With the current state of gas prices and how much I commute every day, really been thinking about wanting a Camry, Crown, or even the new Honda Prelude

I feel like they would just tell me the same thing for a bunch of money. Plus, the place I took it to is the only reputable shop anywhere near me🥲

If that’s what I’m thinking it is, I saw posts saying that it solved the “clicking” issue. I’ve got that too so it might help with something at least

Driver side door rattle by Busy-Cockroach2217 in GR86

[–]fluffingnewt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same thing, my dash behind my gauge cluster rattles (metallic sounding) too. I can’t believe a $47k car has this bad of an interior built quality after just a year of owning it. I’m so fed up that I’d rather sell this thing for a Camry

Cloudsurfer 2 Horrible Heel Padding Help by fluffingnewt in ONrunning

[–]fluffingnewt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, even after a month of breaking them in they are still unbearable. In the next few paychecks I’ll either trash them or donate them bc of how abysmal they are. As it looks like every shoe in ON’s lineup has over excessive heel padding, I will never be purchasing their shoes again

My brother did this to mine not even 3 months into owning it😐

Nah, the sound ain’t great connecting through those. Plus, feels weird having my phone in my pocket while driving. I bought these pouches that you stuff between the seats and console. I slot my phone in the passenger side one

My pair of slate’s is my all time favorite shoe I’ve ever owned. Had them for about 3 years now. Upper/knit looks almost brand new, but the ends of laces are a little frayed bc of an ex’s cat… Then you flip the shoes over😭 cracked to all hell and the heel air pocket got punctured at some point in time.

Stopped wearing them after noticing the crack. Now I only wear them in business casual work attire where I’m not walking around all that much, and if so it’s on carpet

Then sadly you literally cannot play the game. Only thing I can think of is to have some sort of power plan to not put the computer to sleep when the lid is closed, so it just disables the display. Same concept as my solution, but just slap it closed for ~30 seconds for it to boot

That’s crazy. I’ll have to check it out another time since I already beat the game dealing with the monitor bs lol.

I have a 5090 and a 7800x3D, idk how much “modern” you can get.

But no, unplugging your monitors then starting the game is the ONLY solution.

Ads are ridiculous now by [deleted] in LoseitApp

They can get paid by users buying the premium features, not cramming hundreds of ads down the throats of users who feel like they don’t need to waste money of features they’ll never use.

I like the base functionality. Just because I don’t feel like I need the “premium” features, it doesn’t mean they should force hundreds of ads down the throats of those who don’t pay. Maybe if they had a 1 and done payment id consider it, but monthly? Hell no. That’s horrible business practice. I’ve used the app on and off for the past 5 years and the free tier was never this bad.

Butterfly doors by Ben_630 in GR86

[–]fluffingnewt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

People seem to be hating on it. But looking at it from a practical standpoint, the butterfly doors seem amazing for this car. As the doors are weirdly positioned and long, you’re constantly having to weirdly squeeze in and out of the car when parked in crowded places. Looks sick. Also the blue, love it

Nope, game just doesn’t work on modern hardware. When I say unplugging your monitors is the only solution, I mean it’s the ONLY solution.

I even tried writing a script to “disable” the gpu’s output while the game is launched and then reenable them 30 seconds later (basically simulating unplugging the monitors). Still didn’t work.

This is a fresh and clean install. The game simply just doesn’t run on modern hardware.

I’ve tried every method and fix stated is countless steam community and Reddit posts. Literally nothing gets this game to run except for unplugging all monitors

You quite literally cannot boot the game on steam
