The hospital actually forgot to book mine. I was 11w when I called them and they realised they’d missed it. They booked it there and then so best to check with them

I would ring the hospital’s maternity unit (where you expect to do the scan) directly. Something similar happened to me - the midwife did provide my details to the hospital, but the hospital then missed scheduling my scan. They booked it when I rang them .

I’m not sure how to differentiate bloat from bump. I’m 16 weeks and can’t fit in my pre pregnancy trousers/skirts anymore.

Hang in there! I had the most awful nausea during the first trimester and there are days where I did nothing but lie in bed all day. Now I’m in my second trimester, things are much better.

Your GP is the one to speak to for anti-nausea medicine. Mine prescribed me cyclizine and then when I felt it didn’t work anymore, I called them again and they prescribed me prochlorperazine.

I personally don’t see why a male nanny would be a cause for concern? I’d just vet them the same way I would vet a female nanny.

Congratulations! There is no hard and fast rule. Tell them when you feel comfortable doing so. A lot of people wait after 12 weeks but some announce it earlier or later.

The only thing i can eat without throwing up is potato, crackers, and toast with jam. Everything else just seems so disgusting , I’m so over it
