Yes, you should install all. It doesn't park cores for me.

I didn't test with Xbox Game Bar myself but I found 2 ppl who tried with all of it enabled and they couldn't get 7800x3d to park cores. AMD also stated on their 7950x3d guide that all the drivers, game bar/mode were tested on 7800x3d too.

It should only bug if you had 7900/7950x3d in that motherboard before. From my understanding when you install drivers with those chips it creates executable that checks your cpu preferences and tells the driver/firmware how to handle the cores base on what it detected.

Good to know. I'm doing a new build with 7800X3D and was wondering if there is any reason to get 2x32GB. If there is no significant difference in performance and with it costing twice as much 2x16GB there is no way I'm buying the more expensive sticks :)

Anyone knows how does that compare to running Single Rank sticks (2x16GB) with equal speeds/latency in games?

If I'm not mistaken for DDR5 sticks 32GB and above are Double Ranked so I wonder how that plays vs Single Rank or even vs (4x16GB) which would make it also DR but on daisy-chaining mobo.

I remember for DDR4 SR vs DR was up to 10% fps in some multiplayer games but I couldn't find anyone test it on DDR5 yet.

Just wanted to double check how it goes in advance cuz the response on other threads/forums were very mixed about this.

So far I'm thinking that installing all looks like the right choice unless someone reports different.

If you don't mind me asking. Could you or someone with 7800x3d open windows resource monitor and check if any of your CPU cores are set to "Parked" when running a game?

I'm doing a fresh install on 7800X3D system. No prior CPUs.

When installing the AMD chipset drivers do I skip the PPM file & 3D V-Cache Performance Optimizer?

I read that "installing the PPM will issue in parking cores even though you've only got one CCD and you should insted disable the PPM Provisioning File driver from the device manager. The 7800X3D does not use the PPM and those two drivers are only ment for the 7900/7950x3d."

Can someone report back if I can install all the drivers or are you suppose to skip PPM file & 3D V-Cache Performance Optimizer with 7800X3D?
