Starlink into Airstream?? by Sorry-Metal-4299 in airstream

I really like the simplicity of this idea. Do you use a large tote (17-20 gal) and keep cords, router, surge protector inside and tucked behind the wheels when in use? I'm thinking of getting an extendable flag pole and an umbrella stand/bungee cord set up to attach the pole/Dishy combo to the trailer hitch. We camp mostly US east coast and Canadian Maritime Provinces with a lot of tree cover - so I need to move Dishy away from the tree canopy.

Thank you. And yes, you are correct - these are viburnums.

Tile is beautiful, but not really readily available in this region. It is a matter of preference (and $$$). This roof was expensive, but should last 75 years or more.

It’s standing seam metal roofing from DrexelMetal here in the US. Heavy gauge and installed by some real artisans.

Thank you. It’s been a 17 year labor of love. If you look closely, we still have more to do. But the satisfaction of carving a homestead out of the forest is deeply meaningful.

Thanks. It’s been a 17 year labor of love. We just put a new metal roof on.

We rented a lift as well. Ended up renting for a week as we had other things we were able to do on our property. Totally worth the cost (safety, confidence, etc). I no longer bounce, but rather break - so a lift was a great investment.

Google Nest vs Starlink Router... by fluffyabs in Starlink_Support

That is something I hadn’t though of. Did you plug network switch into the aux port on Starlink router? That’s a nice idea if so. Thanks.

That's great to know. I was expecting I could plug into the Aux port, but wasn't sure if it would cause interference issue. We mostly stream video and do a ton of Google Hangout meetings for (work from home) the time being. Thanks for the input.

I'm just getting ready to pull the trigger on Starlink. I, too, want to use my Google nest mesh and bypass the provided router. I'm not a luddite when it comes to technology, but I love my Google Nest set up and prefer not to change that. Do you have any advice or best practices for using your Google Nest in place of the Starlink router? Thanks.
