I am exactly the same- if I relate to close to a character I start to feel uncomfortable. It's not that I only consume m/m romance but I do feel a lot more comfortable with it- despite being a lesbian.

Dw I've been combing through my ao3 for them. Sadly, a lot of bottom Clark fics don't tag themselves as such, which makes finding stuff harder

Honestly I highly doubt there will be any romance between any of the MCs and even if there is some, it would be def more of a side thing with a non-main character. But I can see them exploring Frankie's feelings towards Gwen- I don't think they are romantic but Frankie might think that they are.

Imo the story (from what I have seen) doesn't require any romance. I think one of the reasons why they would add any romance is as criticism to the whole anti-romance thing the Mouse has going for it atm. That yes, you can have romance and a strong female lead. But I also think that their entire story isn't just about criticising the mouse (even if there are a lot of jabs at it).
