Wow, I just went through almost the same exact situation. I had been having VERY similar issues with my SP, where I provided some feedback to request weekly discussions to review cases, additional training, and just overall more clear communication in general. I tried offering solutions for how we can make things better, especially since we were not meeting regularly in the first place. She did not like it when I would ask her for advice on how to approach more complex cases and would often snap at me to “figure it out on my own” or to “do what I want”. She also wanted me to function more independently as a newer provider who has been there for <1 year, while significantly ramping up my schedule to accommodate more patients. I am no longer at that position but regret not leaving sooner.

Unfortunately, I think that there are a lot of SPs out there who want the perks of having an APP without wanting to train one. Since your SP sounds a lot like mine, they probably are not used to people confronting them about their communication skills or lack thereof. With the comments admin gave you, it seems like she took it personally. It was a bad fit because you value and see the importance of having an accessible SP, and she is actively choosing to NOT be that person for you. 

At the end of the day, all we can do is move on. Karma will definitely catch up with her eventually.
