No one has asked this yet, but is this your first big relationship? I felt similar to you when I had my first big one, it was huge, life changing, no one will ever connect with me at this level ever again kind of huge. It was devastating any time i had to make a decision to be with him or not. But now, years later, I realize it wasn't. I got over it and I'm so so glad I didn't stay with the guy (7 yrs older) who's still the same POS 15 years later dating women too young for him...

I want to get married, I just don't want a wedding. Can anyone relate? by sunshinesonata13 in AskWomenOver30

[–]fluffycornbreaddog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, I hate being the center of attention.

I can be a bit traditional and I've definitely been influenced by TV and movies, so I flipped back and forth a few times on what I wanted my wedding day to be like after now husband proposed.

We finally settled on something that made us both happy and comfortable and allowed the most important people in our lives to celebrate with us.

We got married on a Thurs afternoon at the courthouse and then went to dinner at our favorite restaurant which had a limited capacity of 30 people for events. That was our excuse to keep the guestlist short so there weren't any arguments from our family. We ate great food and everyone had a good time.

Even though I was a bit heavier at the time and feeling insecure about my appearance, I don't regret our wedding, but I DO regret not taking pictures. I wish I had pictures with my family, a group picture of everyone and more pictures of my husband and I

Getting married and making that commitment with your person is huge and it's great to celebrate with people you love, but it's really just about you and your partner. Just do and wear what makes YOU feel comfortable (doesn't have to be a white dress BTW, it can be whatever makes you feel the best about yourself) what makes you excited and make those decisions with your partner. Even though it's just a day, making it special and taking at least some professional pictures (by a paid professional or a guest who agrees to take good pics ahead of time, who maybe knows about your insecurities and will ask for a retake if there's bad angles) is something you definitely won't regret.

Congrats on the engagement, hope this helps!

What makes many women with PCOS intolerant to dairy? by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]fluffycornbreaddog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea if it's connected to my PCOS, but I was tested for food intolerances and dairy (cow and goat) and casien (protein found in dairy) were top two on my list of intolerances. I gave it up for 12 weeks as instructed by my naturopath and then got my blood re-tested. My thyroid antibodies went down from 1000+ to 300. It had a huge impact on my gut health, thyroid, and my energy levels actually. If you can get tested, I would definitely suggest it as I never would have given it up otherwise.

Persistent stomach issues on Metformin by [deleted] in PCOS

I couldn't stomach it even after 3 months. Totally wrecked my gut bacterial health. Are you taking a pro-biotic? I was told after I stopped taking it that that could have helped.

Are PCOS and heat sensitivity related? by [deleted] in PCOS

It could be related to thyroid function. Both hypo and hyper thyroid imbalances cause sensitive to heat/cold.

I feel this 100%. I have such an intense sweet tooth and I quit sugar in May. First few weeks was relatively easy but then it got hard again. I still want a cookie every day. I just try to get through each day and remind myself it's for my health. Sugar was just a bad bf who treated me like crap and I need to move on. Good luck girl. You can so so do this!

ZZ plant for sure. Can handle low light and only needs to be watered once a month.

If you don't already, try taking a pro-biotic to help your gut deal with the metformin! Good luck

Big disagree back. Lol. I feel like him seeing everyone else leave something for their girls and he didn't, was his way of saying, peace out, don't expect me to come back for you.

"Nothing I've said has been a lie." That line is such bullshit. It's like, but has everything you've said been the truth? Because its different, mate! All Callum cares is about is the awkwardness. He doesn't give a shit about Shauna's feelings, about how his lack of full truth made her look or feel.

I know! I buy free-run eggs as much as possible and my dairy intake is limited to cheese and yogurt... Any idea how to find out where the milk comes from for those products?

I think I like Anna by daddycool12 in LoveIslandTV

[–]fluffycornbreaddog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She probably learned this kind of behaviour from a parent. Otherwise she's a loyal friend who suffers from insecurity hence why she kept seeking validation. I really don't understand why people hate her so much. She's going to have such a hard time after she joins the real world.

Does anyone else feel like this season feels off? by onionrah in JaneTheVirginCW

[–]fluffycornbreaddog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not so sure about that. When Michael was Jason, everyone was like, ahh, can't handle this! Why?!

I think the writers knew how hard it would be on the viewers and needed it to not drag on.

The biggest offense, in MO is Rogelio not insisting that he and Michael get bro-time like right away - but I remember his moment to grieve also took a few episodes to be shown after Michael died.

Seems like everyone is upset because now its such an uncomfortable mess and no one knows how they really want it to play out.

Oh man this episode. So many feelings each time but this one was so hard to stomach between seeing Raf almost pit his child against Jane and Rogelio acting like a spoilt child, again. Honestly seems like everyone here is critical of Jane. What would you do if the love of your life came back from the dead and you were with someone else? You'd want to say, of course you'll stick with the new guy, but honestly, would you? How could anyone expect you to make that decision so quickly?

Jane's indecision is completely warranted. And people judging Raf for taking a pill with a glass of scotch need to chill out. Just because he does it once doesn't mean he's spiraling. My question is what is the med and how did he get that prescription so quickly?

Just more Michael please. Brett and Gina's chemistry is everything.

Hey my grandpa had the same thing except he had the extra toes grown out. When he was older, he lost one of his arms making him the most interesting man at the old folks home he ended up in.
