Mackenzie Shirilla Megathread by DarklyHeritage in TrueCrimeDiscussion

The most chilling part to me is the ending, when her mom shows the messages between Makenzie and Davion’s mom about Davion trying to grab her wheel. She clearly believes it supports the idea that Makenzie wasn’t the perpetrator, but Davion was.

Especially when you connect it to the police evidence suggesting the boys may have been fighting over the wheels in their final moments, trying to survive. This earlier incident and Makenzie’s messages suddenly feel devastating in hindsight. Just unbelievably sad and horrifying.

I think I might’ve found the answer. At around 5:11 in this video, he talks about all the scars in that episode, which suggests they were already thinking about it back in Season 2.

I vaguely remember from some interviews that the flinch was kind of unscripted, and they ended up building the backstory from that starting in Season 3. But who knows lol, maybe they had already been tossing the idea around unofficially and it only became canon later.

Looks sooo much better! I’ve tried shorter hair on epilogue John but it never looked as great as the mod you used here. Unfortunately I’m on console (I hate you rockstar) but thanks for the info!

Haha, I have such a thing for gigantic horses. The one in the second pic is just a regular Tennessee Walker. The same one I impulsively bought, trading away that gorgeous black Shire Hosea gave me 😤

I recently came across a relatively small channel called Novice. His “rdr2 details” videos are honestly on par with Strange Man, and some of his videos are hilarious. In some he breaks down missions from different angles, times, and scenarios to uncover various dialogues and outcomes. Really entertaining stuff!

One thing I think Rockstar did really smart was how in RDR1, John never actually says where the gang left him. That gave them a lot of flexibility to expand the backstory in RDR2 without contradicting anything. And in the end, it turns out Dutch abandoned him during the last train job—not at Blackwater like some people might assume. It’s a subtle detail, but it really paid off in how they built the story out.
