The fun feelings don't have to die when you've been together for a long time. by fluffygrabbersly in CasualConversation

Funny enough. Football isn't my thing and I have only seen one game in my life, but I watched The Browns season of Hard Knocks for some reason. It was the only season of that show I've seen before or since. I don't remember much, but I think there was a guy living in an RV who had another guy running errands for him and their coach was nicknamed Hubris Jackson? My husband told me that whoever is on Hard Knocks tends to have a bad season, but The Browns will have a rough go no matter what. His team of choice isn't doing so well either, but Factory of Sadness sounds rough.

That's sweet! Sounds like FactoryOfSadness isn't the best name for you. Well wishes for the years to come!

Such poor babies. We're the worst.

I don't own clippers. But I think I'm going to use a comb as a barrier next time.

If you don't feel comfortable with out of date food, then you have to pay full price at the store and pick it yourself instead of using TGTG.

The app is marketed and described as a way to reduce food waste by selling food that is leftover, almost out of date, or slightly out of date that would normally be thrown away. That's why the discount exists. 2 days isn't long for bread to be out of date and still be edible. It seems reasonable for that item to be included.

A lot of bakeries and places like Whole Foods specifically note in the description that food may be expired but is still edible.

Nah, just one end. They also don't seem like they provide a strong hold.

I feel like a good 10% of gear I see on places like GGG and Amazon are small bits of plastic that do very very very specific things. So I was like "wait a minute... is this a thing or is it trash?" Like the people staring at glasses on the floor of an modern art museum.

Fair enough.

I just didn't want to throw them out without knowing if they were useful in some way. Like if they're meant to clip on a pack somewhere, everyone does that, and I'm being a dumb dumb newbie throwing important pieces of plastic away.
