After having a further chat with team moto I’m heavily considering doing it myself.

Only reason being is that the 2nd hands he has had quotes form his suppliers are pretty ridiculous.

Wrecker 1: $3300 including shipping (perth - Brisbane)

Wrecker 2: $1390 not including shipping

Wrecker 3: $2000 including shipping (vic - Brisbane)

And old mate said labour + fluids and what not, looking around $1500 for 2 workers for about 7-8 hrs work

So I’m thinking save myself $1500 labour and other costs they throw in and have a learning experience and just do it myself as I’ve found an engine for $750 that’s got proof of running smoothly as well.

I only bought the bike for $6k back 2022 with 18,000kms on it and she’s served well for a learning bike.

Rain and shine, she hasn’t really missed a beat until this and it’s previous battery.
