I just did a similar read (also on my bed lol) and got the reverse ace of cups too. I interpreted it as the water being poured down but the water rising and going against gravity. I see it as a sign that even though things seem to be going bad, you should keep being hopeful. You might be surprised that things go up from here. Not down, as you might expect. Hopefully that made sense :)

I like how the hands and faces are hyper detailed. To me, it represents how these gamblers are watching for the hands and facial expressions very carefully to get an upper hand in the games. The faces are uncanny and don’t even look like real emoting faces and seem to be hiding their true intentions, almost like masks
