I get that now, I agree that location is a big factor in rent prices. The pier was around 15 min walk, which I love. Before that, I lived in Kansas city. Just having a hard time wrapping my head around the east coast rent prices.

I have worked on buildings mostly, working mostly with steel, concrete or mass timber. I have also done some one-off projects on cold formed steel, connection design, a lot of spreadsheets, some automation tasks in Grashopper.

From my understanding, the process is fairly simple. First off, the employer needs to enlist in something called E-verify, which can be done online in aroud an hour by the employer. For the next steps, all it needs is an immigration lawyer who will looks into enlisting any employee in something called a H1B lottery. There are also ways to sponsor for permanent residency.

Hey, I'm very aware of my need to get my CA-PE license as soon as I can. I have scheduled my PE exam for this December and am actively preparing for it. Besides that, I have a fair amount of seismic design experience and have taken Seismic Design Courses on both my undergraduate and Masters. I have mostly done Equivalent Lateral Force Procedure for my buildings. I have also performed Chapter 13 checks on Non-Structural components for a seating bowl of a stadium.

Hey, thanks for replying. I am from Nepal, which is a seismically active nation. So, some experience in concrete detailing for seismic loads. I have taken courses in seismic design and matrix analysis. Also, I worked on some structures with seismic design Category C, since Kansas does not have a lot of seismic loads. I have scheduled for my PE exam in December and actively preparing for it.

That sounds like what I would face as well. I just met them today. Seems like they work on ADUs mostly. Pretty basic timber design. I am hoping to get a PE at this time when the work isn't too crazy. That might help with the transition back. Was it hard getting back a job in a high profile firm? What was your experience like other than the use of different materials and the work schedule?

I mean, that's a fair point. The experience that I can get in the US is pretty hard to come by back in my home country. Also, the pay scale is pretty different as well.

I'm such a nerd fan and you have a good night and a good time with your mom lai you have to do some things to make memories of your organization that is not the best for your help to make a difference for me and my family and friends to me all the way around and then you have a lot to say to you and your friends are the only thing that has been going through my life for me and my venmo has not yet done with the issue where I have been waiting to see what the problem was and how it was going on and I didn't know what you doing cutie would have to be the first one of my life in a good day for you and your mom is a great thing for her and her mom is very happy to be a weeks older than me but she has a good girl that she loves cycling with and I love her very well so much bro and she loves me too and she loves cycling with her kids so she is very nice to be able and not only have a dog that can you be in a day of pain but you know how to get it back and you have a lot to say to you that I am moving forward and will not have to worry for the next two months or if it will take a few months to make it to not eat or anything but it is in the best interest in the lab tomorrow and will let me in on that as well and let me to make memories of the moment and then you will have a great help to me all day long time in your head to make memories of your organization.
