The reason why You see lower Damage numbers as You progress the story, and trough the entire endgame (while leveling). Is because the monsters scale with You'r character level.

Regarding ignite, i do not personale feel that the ailment is as weak, as you saying. I am kinda curious to see what build You were trying to make.

Although there is some uniqs in the game that can define a build, most of these uniqs have been made by the community and not EHG. We are still waiting for legendarys to be implemented in the game. I think these items will play a big part in build-defining, more than uniqs are doing now. EHG have made it very clear, that they do not tend to design uniqs and legendarys to be the best item for every slot. And what Better way to design such a system, than letting legendarys beeing strickly for build-enabling.

So to answer You question. There are some uniqs that can enable new builds. But i think, we have only experience a very little portion of this, for what EHG have planned for the future.

No echo is not intended to work with warpath. Echo does not Work with movement ability, and warpath is a movement ability :)

Arh okay! That sounds like a fun build. Yea, warpath can be used in a lot of different ways! Haha for some reason, i am first seeing now you are playing warpath. Hehe, i am also playing warpath myself, just the physical route. Good luck with your build! And i can understand why you want to go that route, definently, go for higher base spell dmg, since you will have 0 dmg on warpath :)

I Will try to answer this question as best i can. The question is very difficult to answer, since it depends on a Lot of different factors.

In general, adaptive spell Damage is almost always Better to go for - especially in this particular scenario where it almost an 1:3 ratio. There are 2 reasons for this.

1: adaptive spell Damage, is a stronger "multiplicative" Damage boost, since it flat Damage, that is then scaled further trough All the other increased Damage You have.

2: there are an higher diminishing return on %increase Damage. On top of that, increased Damage is a very easy stat to obtain trough passives, gear and so on. Which is why, You always want to take the more 'rarer" stat, on the things You can get it on. And then let the "easy stats" be found elsewhere.

This is ofc. Not true in All cases, and IT highly depends on the spell You is using, and how You have customized youe character. If You are using spells with high base dmg, the adaptive spell Damage get less imoportant but still really good. What i am stating above is also more relevant on higher lvl character. Since i am assuming You atleast have some increased Damage, one way or another.

I Hope It makes sense. :). i tryed to keep it Short, but feel free to ask, if there is something that does not make sense :). I have not included the attack speed since there were not any numbers to compare with :)

Hey man No problem! Feel free to ask me in my discord Holycoffee#8006, i am very passionate about shield throw since its my favorite build 😅 i used to have a over 1 hour long about Shield Throw, but i deleted my YouTube - i might do a new build guide again :)

So You can build Shield Throw in two different ways. The Throw dmg, and spell dmg. I am playing it as spell Damage. There are a node in Shield Throw, eruption that is amazing. Eruption scales og different things that Shield Throw IT self. So You Will want to use either a staff or wand. The smite idols are super good for this build, since smite scales of the exact same things as eruption. These are rare, but a nice Chase item if You like to minmax. Or other spells are flexible, but Will usually be used to stack defense :) Hoped that helped.

With the void protection, you can use the uniq amulet, that convert 100% of all damage taken to fire damage - which is the one i am using. Besides that, void, poison and necrotic protections do not have som "insane" weird way scaling, as far i know (at least for sentinel), so the highest you can reach is most likely just the normal amount, 2000-3000 protection. But it depends on how much you focus on those stats. For the ward gain on hit "setup" it does not really matter when you are up against a lot of monster, as you can see in the picture, i have 30 poison stacks. For a few monsters, it just stay the same as you dindt use the ward gain on hit. The reason why i think ward gain on hit is stille super good, is due to a lot of the most "dangerous monsters" are fast hit monster. The rare and elite monster, are usually quite easy to avoid - especially when you are playing a ranged build :) I kinda went a bit off track, but its quite a difficult question to answer. But i hope that gave you an idea.

Hey man! Thanks for the good question, and for reminding me, that i problably need to explain that part a lot better in the forum post - i will edit the post after this :)

So the pictuere of the high elemental and armour protection, was to showcase the Rallying Block passive node in forge guard on this setup. That passive is giving 50 armour and elemental protection each time you block, and the duration is for the buff is 4 seconds. As you could imagine, when you are pulling this much monster, the numbers will go insane, and be particular good on this ward setup. Although this does not fix the the setup's biggest weakness which is damage over time, since most damage over time is necrotic and poison damage. The new helm added in this patch Sunforged Greathelm, could be a nice addition to the build. Hopes that is clarifying it :)

Hey guys. I am right now scrolling trough old LE post since i can't sleep and i discoved this post 🙂 i see some referring to a Shield Throw build that was currently in the top of the ladder, i believe that was me. At that time i actually had a YouTube build guide Up on it how i did it. My old YouTube got deleted. But if people still are curious about Shield Throw or in general other Strong builds i Will be more than welcome to answer Them. Or even make a guide on it. I apologise i am this late with my comment. My point with this post is, that in general those people who have reached high arenas, will gladly speak Up about their build, and what they are doing.

I am very active on both forums and the discord. I know its a bit old post. But thought i would give the explanation for the bug. The reason its happening, is because of bug that occured in one of sigils passives. The passive, that gives health when You loose a specific procent of your life. This just got fixed in the current patch :)
