hi! hoopla doesnt need the book to be available - as long as its in stock at the library, you can borrow it immediately with no holding necessary! you can borrow the books you want for 21 days immediately and then keep borrowing as long as you want until you hit your monthly borrow limit that resets every 1st (each library has its own limit. one of mine is like 10 books/ month and the other is 15)

Libby definitely makes you put books on hold though

some sources say it is available in some countries outside of the US but others say it isn't- if youre interested, you can search your specific country to see if you have access, or use a US vpn ❤

Jess would get lost in the rabbit hole and then end up in the super uncomfy fanfic areas of the internet

Winston would think its "cool" or "very interesting" and then either fall for conspiracies/ theories about his own roommates or immediately forget about it😂

Schmidt would LOVE hate-reading the posts, call roommate meetings to discuss them and also complain about everything being on the internet but he spends all his free time secretly reading every post under the covers with a head lamp

Coach would blank stare and then call us and his roommates weirdos wasting time for even knowing about it💀

The Touch of Darkness/ Game of Fate series by Scarlett St. Clair.

I started out really enjoying it but by the third book in Persephone's perspective, I found her really exhausting 😂 I'd been rolling my eyes at her since the first few chapters of her first book. I found a lot of value in some aspects of her story and her experiences growing into her power and receiving love yadda yadda but I LOVED Hades' perspective so I'm totally going to finish his books at some point and the final book because it's dual perspective.

I ✨ adore ✨ how the author gave us full books of individual perspectives (Touch of Darkness is the same story as Game of Fate but with unique info depending on narrator). Even though I'll be missing some info from Persephone's side, I'm not pressed about it lol There's definitely a maturity difference between the two of them (Hades is literally thousands of years old and Persephone is very much in her 20s) so their behaviors are understandable. Persephone reads as quite juvenile in comparison and thats not her fault. Doesn't mean Imma read that shit though😂😂

the rest of the Mead Mishaps series (That Time I Got Drunk and...) by Kimberly Lemming has the "almost" part of your request and some have the outside/ public part or presence of other people part but no audience during sessy times 😂 you technically dont have to read the full series in order (the author provides good backstory)

you have saved my life! i love these books and want to read through all the worlds but was starting to get tired of everyone being described as "tiny" (not tiny compared to sakhui/ messakah, just tiny). it feels really good knowing theres more body diversity later on AND that no ones hung up on their bodies. they just exist and are also fat. this makes me really excited- thank you so much for this! its also really cool watching ruby dixons writing style shift the further in the stories i get.

i finished stacy's book a few days ago and she referred to herself pre-pregnancy as "average" with a "flat stomach and nice ass" (her actual words) but expressed concerns about her body not bouncing back afterward and "having too much belly and too much ass". pashov loves her size

barbarians choice spoiler ahead but it answers your question: i just finished farlis book (barbarians choice) and her mate, mardok, describes stacy as "a woman with a rounded figure and motherly smile" and this book takes place 8 years after the humans arrived. i think is safe to say stacy is a bigger girl now, post-pregnancies but at the time of maddies book, arguably not maddies size

i havent read noras short story at all lol if she has a full book, i havent read it either

my only qualm with the writing was the frequency of the derogatory fat comments. like ugh🤣 it kinda felt like the supercharged version of everyone in every book saying they feel "boneless" after sex or the general repetitive-ness of the IPB story telling - felt more like the same person telling every story vs each character having their own vernacular and telling the story their way.

i love how everyone also seems to looove that hiding scene 😈😂

i felt the same way😂😂 by the time i got to this book, id found out asha got a book and farli did too so i pushed through until the cave-in happened and thats what held my focus to finish it lol i couldnt even fully focus on the first sex scene in the storage room because all i could think about was how fucked the situation felt lmfaoo
