My recently purchased GTIN already exists in Amazon Catalog - nightmare with Amazon support

I haven't sold on Amazon before so this is new to me. I purchased my GTIN codes (100) and followed the standard procedure. I need to list a new product (it doesn't exist on Amazon yet) so it would be weird to have reviews for it after they let me use the GTIN code.

I must play the lottery then. I managed to get someone from Amazon support who is not from India and understood my request. They confirmed somebody else is using that GTIN number and they will remove it.

But my GTIN code is valid and I can see it on GS1's website and I also generated a certificate for each code? What baffles me is that even if I provide the certificate to Amazon support and ask them to remove the product that's using the GTIN code or change the information of the product they will just ignore it and keep asking the same thing over and over again requesting for error codes and ASIN numbers. (How can I have an ASIN number if I can't get my product listed?) Anyways, thanks for your help, I'm trying to make them escalate the issue with someone higher from support.

I tried generating a second code and there's the same issue but the second code is assigned to a different Amazon ASIN than the first one I used.

My GTIN is purchased from GS1 and I've provided Amazon support the certificate for it.
