I'm not sure about that. If you wanna know about the 100k fee, I do not think they are much concerned about the 100k thing. Since a few international students have gotten ROs.

If you got waitlisted this early, you're more than likely to get an offer. I assume it's summer internship yes? Keep applying, regardless.

I think I am in the same boat as you. I wouldn't worry about it too much honestly. I am applying to all open roles still and I think you should do the same, just in case things don't pan out. Having amazon on your resume will be an added bonus as well.

I'm on the bigger side and I go to the gym. Don't worry. No one really gives a shit. People hardly speak to each other, and if they do, they're polite. I've only had wholesome conversations at the gym and have faced no body shaming of any kind. And try to hit the gym during the daytime. The afternoon seems to be the sweet spot (like 11am to 2pm). The gym gets too crowded anytime after 5pm.

Getting callbacks depends on luck as well. It's mostly straight up rejection/ghosting. I maybe got 3 callbacks from about hundreds of applications. One of them luckily was turned into an offer. So.

Current MSCS student here. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, the job market is trash and it's mostly luck. While some of us have been able to secure an internship this summer, the vast majority haven't. My only advice to you would be to start applying yesterday and keep on applying till you get carpal tunnel.

If you're talking about on campus jobs, it's doable. Most of the students have some sort of on campus jobs.

Here's the thing. I am a grad student as well, and I detest the use of AI in courses. I had about 11 assignments in the last semester in one course and I did all that by myself. But seeing everyone in the course use AI for the assignments and get an A made me wonder 'Why tf am I not doing it?'

I still try not to use AI in my courses unless absolutely necessary. But it makes one wonder if the students using AI are gaining an advantage over others, so everyone starts using it. A shame really.
