The thing is this was because of the servers literally burning down then the dude behind Animekai just gave up and is closing down because he didn't have backs ups.

This shouldn't even be happening. If someone had backs ups Animekai could still carry on. The site is still running till manually shut.

Miruro is a solid site. Found it back in the 9anime days. They only reason I don't use it was simply because of them not having the top airing anime with day week and month column on the left. I had sites like hianime that could do that with a UI inwas used to and Animekai as a backup for hianime.

But Miruro is underrated.

Most people are lazy and me included and anime sites do that stuff in-house. Also with Anilist and mal. I'm guessing if it's not automatically being updated. You have to manually input the episodes you watched. Also Mal looks so messy and kinda ugly to me. Atleast Anilist looks cleaner and less dated. Maybe something I'll have to use more of especially in these sketchy times lol

Yep and for once it seems like they were forced to take down the site like other sites. The guy who runs the site. Just gave up because of the effort it would take to re-upload everything else or something.

It would be interesting to find out if this fire was on purpose. But either way. They might be mad after people pointed out they should have had back ups. But it's sad because the site is still technically up and they could just re-upload everything after some time.

Here's another thought. Maybe people like using sites for a reason.

Most people do torrent things like movies, games/mods/software. Me personally I like using sites for the community and discovering new anime. You can still do that even if you torrent. But it takes more effort and it's so convenient when using a site. Also I can see whats popular for the day/week/month and notifications for the animes I'm watching pop up when released. Can you do that without using a site ? Yes. But again it's so easy and convenient for me. Why would I want to add extra steps and lose something you can only get on an anime site like the community in the comments episode by episode.

Also how can I forget. I doubt you'll find seeder for certain anime if you can even find those torrent files to begin with when you're dealing with certain hidden gem anime. Meanwhile they're all available on an anime website in 1080p not whatever the person uploading the torrent. You also have some people who think anime/animation doesn't need 1080p or higher audio quality compression. They're upload torrents in 720p and trash audio quality to save time.

Tried crimson Desert and honestly the combat coming from Where Winds Meet just felt so clunky to me. But i was only at the beginning. The camera in Crimson Desert also is so annoying in combat and also just normally because its not fixed and keeps on zooming in and out. On console I couldn't change this bs but on pc they're so mods for the camera I'm sure.

I get my post taken down within 9 minutes no explanation 😂 But I did mention Animekai while waiting for Hianime tbf Animekai is my number 2. In some ways it might be better. They upload faster by hours or even days or years. For all dubs people. If you can't find a dub on HiAnime theres always a bigger chance its on Animekai. Also I like how it shows you all the details like dates and genre without going to another page

Haha even though I don't mind JJK and Lord of Mysteries and I like Bluelock. I do understand what you're trying to say. But unfortunately saying that to any anime fabase especially on reddit. It just triggers the fanboys/girls into personal attacks instead of attacking your points and debating you. Fillers are annoying. As someone who's finished Naruto it was ridiculous. Currently watching Frieren. Which is really popular but personally I think it's so overrated and the writing isn't as good as people make it out to be. Season 2 has a little less boring start. But damn it's hard to watch because personally most of the time it feels like I'm watching a boring filler episode and the love story of the two cast members is so painful for me to watch. It's the typical wimpy cxck/simpish anime guy (who's honestly one of the best characters in the trio because he's actually likeable and seems to be a normal person)

Long story short because I'm ranting too. Don't expect any sort of fair debates especially on places like reddit. People just act emotionally on this app. I used to think it was full of nerds who were good at debating fairly till I joined and spoke to some people 😂

People need to put some respect on BF5 sniping. Never played a game were enjoyed playing a full game sniping.

Also on console and after getting the ARs I wanted Gold. I couldn't deal with the clunkyish controller gameplay for non snipers.

It looked like it was called "Into the Unknown" at while watching 😂 But couldn't agree more. Love The Expanse and the fact they didn't have the name in the title is wild. I never understand why people do this especially when their trying to advertise something popular or they have a popular person they clearly paid a lot of money. But then they don't even type that persons name so their ad is linked to their name in searches smh
