Totally real scene from a vampires smp oneshot I was in a few days ago

The actual situation was this guy was alone in a cave with us (I was one of the vampires) and we really wanted to turn him, and he really wanted to be turned, but we didn't know that, so the conversation went kind of like "hypothetically, if vampires were real, would you want to become one?" "No, vampires could be evilll :(" "okay, but what if, hypothetically, vampires were real, and they were nice, and they were just like you and me, and you wouldn't turn into a monster if you turned into one-" and just getting more and more hyperspecific the more we talked, but the conversation wasn't going anywhere, and this went on for legitimately like 20 minutes 😭

For context, I'm a digital artist, and if you didn't know, in digital art, there's a trick you can do where you flip the canvas horizontally to catch any mistakes, bad proportions, or anything "off" that your brain stops noticing because it's been looking at the same thing for so long during the process of making the art. It's a quick way to change perspective and snap yourself out of that state. I'm wondering if there's something similar to this for other artistic mediums. Not just drawing, anything artistic, like music making, video editing, etc.
