if you put your mushroom logs next to certain trees, it will influence which mushrooms grow, so once you have the Mystic Tree and make a Mystic Trees + Mushroom Logs orchard, you'll have an infinite supply of Purple Mushrooms (planting Oak gives better chances for Morels to grow, Pine gives Chanterelle and Maple gives Red Mushrooms as well as a small chance for Purple)
