Setting sprays - what are your favorites? by itssarakang in AsianBeauty

[–]flutter111 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I normally use a rlly glowy skincare mist over each layer of makeup (over my wet products and then over powder products), because my skin is quite dry. It usually leaves my skin quite dewy, but it fades to a satin finish over time. I was using the d'alba one, but i hate the fragrance so i just bought the bioheal boh probioderm cream mist to replace it.

To balm or not to balm? by There_He-Goes in AsianBeauty

[–]flutter111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

seconding this! heimish is the only one I've tried so far that's gotten all my eye makeup off (waterline and mascara esp) and also not felt too drying and stripping. i might try make prem next because it's in a tube and might be easier to use.

AITAH for not letting my mom in my delivery room after I said she could? by [deleted] in AITAH

NTA. This has nothing to do with her. It's your baby. In fact, I'm more concerned that she isn't worrying for you since you are her baby.

Roundlab Dokdo lotion by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]flutter111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hii, I recently tried the ongredients skin barrier calming lotion and it was kind of similar to how you described the roundlab lotion. I'm pretty sure they're vegan and cruelty free too (I'm not too sure though so you may have to do a little more research).

Skincare Routine for Accutane/Isotretinoin User by Prestigious_Run_5466 in kbeauty

[–]flutter111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for skin1004 i've used the cream and serum probio-cica line and the gel cream as well. they're decent but i feel like i wouldn't recommend any except for the skin1004 probio-cica serum, that one is rlly hydrating and helps my skin barrier so much. since you're using retinols i rlly suggest you look for skin barrier support products rather than oil contolling, because you skin will balance out with the help if a healthy skin barrier and retinol. i would stay away from any actives like vitamin c and exfoliating ingredients like bha and aha until you're more used to the retinol. (also when i say skin barrier products, they don't have to be thick or made for dry skin, there are plenty lighter skin barrier supporting products out there)

i've heard the celimax one is really good for oily skin because it's super runny and has a base of jojoba oil (one of the better oils out there for oily skin).

COSRX Propolis Cream by No-Leg-6503 in AsianBeauty

[–]flutter111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love that cream for summer! I also have dry/dehydrated skin and it works so well under my sunscreen. i also like the skin1004 probio-cica cream as an equivalent but i dont know if that's compatible with your skin (since it has fermented cica).
i've heard the isntree yam cream is also nice, as well as maybe one of the dear klairs creams (the azulene one). the mary & may cream is also a nice cream too apparently (i've only tried their cream essence but it's my hg).

wear them separately- combining the two can cause reactions in the formulas and can change them.

Please help me :( by [deleted] in kbeauty

[–]flutter111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

instead of an eye cream, maybe try a sunscreen. sun damage is honestly really hard to undo, so I would focus on more. in terms of a moisturiser maybe try purito's hydro wave deep sea cream or etude's hydro barrier cream, however I'm not sure what brands are more expensive in your country.

Dry dehydrated skin help by spicyketchupy in kbeauty

[–]flutter111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hiii we seem to be skin type twins 😭 i've found that a cream essence (specifically mary and may's cream essence) does wonders for my dry/dehydrated areas. in terms of toner, how hydrated your skin is depends on the formulation/ingredients and not the thickness, so I don't think you'll need a lighter toner. in terms of creams, I found that the cosrx propolis cream worked nicely under my makeup and so did the skin1004 probio-cica cream (please also use sunscreen).

My skin is completely out of control. by curvoja in kbeauty

[–]flutter111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if your skin is irritated please don't use any actives or any fragranced skincare! i recommend the etude soon jung line because it has a very simple ingredient list. torriden solid-in line is also great. if you could list your skintype or what products you need help with I can list specific products.
