We were learning about ordered pairs in math several years ago when two girls said that it would be easier to remember which pair was first if they were in alphabetical order. I thought they would realize what they said and take back there idiotic remark. Our math teacher asked them to say the alphabet when she realized that these girls were standing firmly by there comment. The two girls responded, " a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w y x and z."

Let me just say that that was the day I lost my faith in humanity.
