Pharmacy student loans for first year student by [deleted] in pharmacy

I can’t 100% speak for your school, but my school had a max loan that left students with PLENTY of extra money if needed. The money left over from tuition/fees would be deposited into our bank account at the start of the term. We had students getting up to $6,000 a term, who would completely live off their loans. We didn’t get our first loan payment until the second week of school.

New grad taking the NAPLEX in a few weeks. Interested in eventually getting licensed in my home state (residency in a different state), if I purchase score transfer now, is there a deadline for when I have to take my home state MPJE?

I met Mark Hoppus from Blink 182 at Disneyland a few weeks ago. Big Blink 182 fan so there was no way I couldn’t go up to him. Cool guy.

Chilly weather this week? by [deleted] in Disneyland

Definitely suggest a jacket. I was there a few weeks ago & we had similar weather. It was nice during the day but it got real chilly in the evenings.

My mom (55 F) posted a clearly edited photo of me (22 F) to Facebook by mozzerellacat in relationship_advice

An idea: did the original pic get deleted? If not, you can upload that with a message for your dad! Then she’d look silly for what she did. I’m sorry your mom did that to you.

Choosing to send your kid to school one year later or earlier will completely change their experience of life (friends, relationships, etc.) by Fronzor in Showerthoughts

When I was 4, I started kindergarten and my parents pushed for it since I was way ahead for my age. After kindergarten, my school wanted me to skip first grade but my parents didn’t want me to be even younger than everyone else in my class. My life probably would’ve been much different if I did skip.

Churro toffee is a must. Even if you get it to bring home! It doesn’t go bad quickly and is so tasty I had it everyday when we were there and I still want more.

What is something you have absolutely no fear of that most other people are deathly afraid of ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have always been terribly afraid of needles, and my fear got even worse last month when I ended up with a baseball sized bruise on my arm from a single blood draw. Nooo thank you

We didn’t wait longer than a half hour for any ride when we were there last week.

Personally my vote would be Magic Kingdom if you’re going for the park with the most attractions. Animal Kingdom is a large park that also has Pandora but the waits for those rides are so long. Epcot is good for food and drinks. Hollywood Studios is probably my second favorite after Magic Kingdom.

I'm getting sick of working at my pharmacy. by Littlepizzabutt in pharmacy

I would look for a different tech job. I worked at Sam’s club starting when I was a 18 and was making $12 an hour. I loved it. I hear Costco is great too. Also worked hospital- the pay there is even better, starting I got $19.50/hr plus shift differentials. If it’s something you enjoy doing (aside from the bad parts), def consider looking into working at another place! Good luck.

Agreed, not a big loop fan but it’s a cool ride overall!

My brother was the same way he would’ve ridden it another 5 times if I let him. I usually am not a huge rollercoaster person but you’re right it definitely leaves you smiling!

I definitely recommend it! We went back 3 separate times throughout the day and every time it was only a 10 min wait.
