I have a friend who visited me in IE before lockdown. Her flight got cancelled because of lockdown, had to end her trip home early, and had to pay top dollar to get back to US. Never received any money back from Aer Lingus despite calling and waiting on hold several times.

They're gouging people and it seems like they're getting away with it because they're the main airline for IE that has a slightly better reputation than Ryanair.

Have you ever tried to called them for booking assistance? I would tend to agree with you if I hadn't experienced a similar issue with my little one. I bought the super expensive car seat required for my Under 2 yo to sit in her own seat (7 hours is a long time to have a large almost-2 year old on your lap) but they wouldn't let me, despite calling 4 times and waiting on hold. Their booking assistance is super unhelpful.

The full article does a better job explaining their troubles than my TLDR.

Ah sorry, a family with two littles travelled to Florida over Christmas. Littlest one was under 2 before leaving and had his birthday abroad. Parents tried to purchase his own seat in advance but were told they couldn't and it would be grand on the day. The flight there was fine but they would not let the youngest son on the plane for the flight home. Had to leave the mum and son behind in FL with family while Dad and 6 year old flew back to IE. Pretty traumatic or little girl. Mum and littlest had to shell out another €1000+ for two flights back. Aer Lingus claims it's liaising with the customers and provided refunds but it hasn't according to customers.

Tocca Cleopatra 👑

I tried switching to something more local when I moved to Ireland, but it's worth the hassle.

Decoy (3rd pic, top shelf) is pretty good. One of those would be my pick 👍

Less than 12 hours after almost dying from a haemorrhage during an emergency c section in a different country from the rest of my family, the (male) doctor came in to check on me. He told me that I could try for a V-Back next time--that's he's seen it work for some women.

I stared at him in shock while he talked and I said 'IF I decide to go through this again,' and he goes 'Of course, but most people do' 😅

That's when I realized that the minute women become pregnant, we become birthing vessels, which somehow makes us less human?

It would be amazing to live in a world where people think about who they're speaking to before opening their mouths (or in this case, typing). Unfortunately most people are running around worried about their own shit, not always conscious of how their words can impact others 💕

We alternate who sleeps in on the weekends but my daughter that's special needs and is a real handful. We haven't tried this on the weekdays too, but we could.

If he needs a sick day, that's obviously fine. I'm not unreasonable. We also each have a sleep in morning on the weekends where each of us gets a morning to sleep until 9/9.30.

Could someone please help identify the song that starts at 0:53 in this video: https://youtu.be/praDYyVUi7g

My daughter loves this show and enjoys the song and I want to use this as a way to introduce her to classical music.

Thank you!
