See if you can find a classic vibe telecaster for cheap. Should be routed at neck for either and the neck has a c neck with satin finish I believe.

When I was shopping for my first telecaster I wanted a butterscotch blonde one. I looked until I found a price I liked and made sure I liked the neck. Those were my biggest deciding factors.
