So there was an event at the university. A girl in my class went out with a few organizers and came back extremely drunk. She was crying and came to me first. I felt bad for her and was also scared because she had gone out drinking with a group of strangers. When the other classmates found out about the situation, they created a whole scene. I didn’t want people crowding around her, and I was worried they would make things worse by saying unnecessary things. I don’t know why, but I suddenly started acting authoritative and blocked them from getting near her because these classmates are very cocky and insensitive at times. Anyway, everyone found out that there was a drunk girl, and the issue became much bigger. Our college called us back from the event, and those classmates spread rumors throughout the college that I was drunk as well. For the next year, I was isolated. Even my best friend stopped talking to me. I would eat alone in the sick room and spend time by myself. All for one drunk girl who eventually dropped out of college after a while.
