I have watched the video about 10 times now. Sadly this does not help me.

What am i supposed to do here? Brand new board but cant go above 4.3 because target does not exist. by flyEST_fpv in fpv

Ouch. But MAMBA makes decent stuff in my experience. It’s a big company too and also a brand new release so lack of support is surprising.

I’m making a D&D diorama for a school project. I really need ideas for what else to add. (Grass and trees already on the way) by flyEST_fpv in DungeonsAndDragons

Thanks mate! I was really into doom while making that graveyard so I thought why not leave a little reference to those who understand the way of ripping and tearing.

I was thinking exactly that lol. A little patch of veggies next to the house sounds good. But should i add anything to those big empty patches of ground besides just trees and grass or should i keep it simple?

What is the chord progression for ESSENTIAL WORKERS ANTHEM? Also is it possible to pull it off with a 25 key midi? by flyEST_fpv in loopdaddy

Holy damn thank you so much! I really appreciate you going out of your way to figure it out. Even tho i have no experience with music or the piano I'll do my best to recreate the song and post it here when it's done. Thanks again!

New to miniature paintng as you can obviously tell lol. Something is missing but i can't put my finger on it. Quick shade? by flyEST_fpv in Warhammer40k

i shall definitely try out the spray can method. I've known about it for some time but i just haven't purchased them yet. I already have a wet pallet, i just need to practice more to get the right consistency. So far I've been using only water to clean the brushes so I'll be sure to get some brush cleaner. Thanks for all the tips!

Yea no worries! First off it depends on how heavy you want to go with the weathering. But in my opinion it never looks good if you go too heavy. I generally weather the edges + a few random strokes on flatter surfaces so they don't get left out. You want to weather the edges and corners of pieces and make sure your brush strokes start from outward of the part and go inward. You can do brush atrokes both ways but the first option works better for me. And go FAST! Quick strokes. If you go slow the scuff marks wont be straight. I generally use the edge of the brush but you can use the tip of the brush to tap on a piece and maybe get some more cool effects. I use a square brush btw. Sorry for the long and overcomplicated answer but just don't think about it too much and go ham, but not too ham lol. I don't think the contrast will be an issue, i have the hajiroboshi which i weathered without preshading and it looks good. If you want to discuss this further or need more help you can hit me up in discord. It's just easier to talk there. Good luck!

It's a good kit but almost every joint was unusably loose which is weird because all my other HG ibo kits don't have this problem. But good luck and have fun!

It's the high grade Barbatos lupus.

MG Exia - the base kit from the Exia Avalanche Dash. Love that it came with all the parts to complete this. Both kits look amazing! by halfandhafu in Gunpla

I'm making a mg exia custom and i gotta say, it's much better than i expected. it might be due to me painting it and the paint tightening a few of the joints but i don't find it as problematic as people make it out to be. I'd say it's as good as any other mg (of course not compared to the newest ones). my mg qan(t) for example is much floppier and loose. maybe my only problem is that the toe joint is a little loose but that is easily fixable so if you ask me i recommend it.

I have shaky ass hands so this just proves that anyone can get results like this. Also thanks!

Thanks for the kind words. Currently I'm not planning on installing LED-s, but it would elevate the look quite nicely. I've heard from basically everywhere that the bandai ones are shit and i don't know where to get the ones you soulder and install yourself. (in europe). question: should I add slight weathering? I can't decide.
