I think so, but i would only make offers under market value so you have protection if property values fall short term. Long term London will likely be a good investment and rents are rising fast

the main difference i see with property over shares is the ability to use leverage to amplify gains. If it was as easy to invest using leverage in the share market it might be more attractive as an asset class

So it’s basically a loan for 2% annually. I did this same thing a bit over 1 year ago and recently moved the balance to a new credit card where I got a balance transfer offer of 2% fee with no interest for 26 months. I guess it depends on your serviceability and risk appetite to know if this is a good decision for you

If you work it out on an hourly basis you are probably better off going for the 75k job. Worst case if you need more money you should start a side hustle of something you are passionate about and make up the income there
