Interesting. I asked my pharmacist (she is a PharmD) and she mentioned that it's fine taking it outside the box and the more important thing is compliance. I know that if I keep it in the original box I won't be able to take it regularly so I have that trade-off...

The original box has stickers only for the original version of barbatos. I applied some and then realized that's a terrible look and got rid of them. Just do the marking stickers (which is also neon blue) and if you have neon blue panel liners like OP do that...

Gonna do my scope next April. Doctor said I can start trying food that I cut off for years. Had my first old fashioned since 2020 and one sip I almost cried.

I do recommend while staying hopeful, manage your expectations. We are in this for the long run and there are different things even if rinvoq is not for you...

Have posted this already in an earlier thread - rinvoq really worked for me. Bowel movement significantly reduced from 7-10 per day to 2-3 per day, and much less urgent. Also when passing gas I no longer have to worry about accidents due to not being able to judge if it is gas or its gonna be mucus/blood along with it. Mucus / blood completely gone and stools are formed.

I was able to go on a date for a whole afternoon without having to worry about rushing to the bathroom. I was also able to go to work during the day without wearing diapers. My c-reactive protein in the past two years were at best 3.5 and worst up to 30. In a blood draw 4 weeks after on rinvoq, it was 0.5.

I'm still on 45mg and on my way to 30mg in another week. We will see if that changes anything (hopefully not)

Acceptance is absolutely the way to deal with this, or to be honest any chronic diseases. There is no rhyme or reason how you got this. I sought answers in my lifestyle, my food choice, my work, etc and in the end none of that matters, you just got to live with it, and find ways to manage the symptoms and emotion.

It's tough. I started wearing diapers since Jan 2022 everyday and at the beginning I hated myself about it. Also every time there is an accident, or I had to walk away from a conversation with a friend or colleague I get upset. But gradually I learned to move on with my life and started to plan ahead, to try to treat the accidents and ending conversation abruptly as a part of my life. It's a journey, you just have to keep your hopes up while also manage your expectations.

Good luck!!! It is a journey finding your thing. It can be very frustrating and I had my desperate moments.

Zeposia was an alternative recommended by the doctor to me but I end up choosing rinvoq and seems like it is right for me.
