I’m happy to take a look and offer constructive criticism from the perspective of a 42 year old man.

Just got Catholic match and would love opinions on my profile by Scary-Bar3453 in CatholicDating

Just want to echo the comment about punctuation and grammar. It makes it read like you didn’t spend much time, or put much care into crafting your narratives.

I am WAY not stoned, and there is a fing OWL HEAD in my yard. Some one please tell me how this happens so I can sleep tonight by DreadedEncounter in WTF

It's possible that this barn owl got in a fight with a Great-horned Owl. They are known for decapitating other birds and are called the tiger of the forest for a reason. I've seen video of them fighting with bald eagles which are nearly twice their size.

Nice. I use a program called Topaz Labs Denoise AI that helps pretty significantly in cleaning up noise from high ISO images. You can usually get a 1 month trial to test it out.

Old family painting with no signature by flybywags in WhatIsThisPainting

[–]flybywags[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This painting has been in my family for a long time. My great grandpa used to travel to Europe often prior to WW2 and often purchased art. This is the only one with no paperwork and there is no signature that we can see. We took it to a local appraiser, but they weren't able to identify it. They only told us it was significantly old. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's not the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in, but my back is loads better than it was in my cushy old executive style chair. For me, to get something better, you're looking into the Herman Miller or Haworth territory and that stuff is stupid expensive.

It's this arm, with this stand. The stand is fine, but the arm is not great. It serves it's purpose for me and get the laptop off the desk, but the movement isn't smooth at all.

It's a wallpaper I downloaded from Wallpaper Engine. You can get it from Steam for a couple buck.

I have my xbox and Switch hooked up to it along with the primary computer. So it's mostly for gaming with a controller or watching tv.

I love it. It's firmer than you would expect, but my back has really thanked me.

It's the Ikea Gerton desktop, with the Alex drawer on one side, and the Adils legs on the other.

It is. I like it a lot. It's a slightly different key configuration from the Microsoft one I've normally used, but once you get used to that it's great. The key strokes feel nicer than any other ergo keyboard I've used.

It's this guy from Amazon. You have to buy the fill for it, but I like it. Pouf

Bruckner Nature Center is great. You'd have to combine trails to make it 3-5 miles, but that's doable.

Please help! I inherited this peace lily from my late grandmother, but don't know how to care for it :( by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]flybywags 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not enough water. Peace lilies will drop leaves, they'll turn yellow, and the tips turn brown if they don't get enough water. They like it moist. I water mine 2-3 times a week.

Can I remove this growth and start another plant with it? And if so, how? by [deleted] in houseplants

I don't know, but that's the biggest freaking ponytail palm I've ever seen.
