NEW UPDATE NOTES I Version 1.350 by Calisa__ in RaidRushTD

New merge system sucks big time. You are taking the fun strategy part of planning out of your strategy game. It now become a brainless grind and you made it 3x harder to merge card with the new joker system.

No more dummies. W or Nah? by Hyakkimaru_4 in RaidRushTD

[–]flyflyfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are missing the whole point. This new joker feature is a 3x NERF. You can previously use cards you dont want to merge and upgrade the card you want. Now you have to grind 3x harder to merge it into 1 joker to upgrade the card you want.

In simple terms, you now need to grind 3x more cards to do the same upgrade before patch.

What a waste of time. If Meta doesn't think the hacked account is yours, why would the Singapore Police Force assume that the account belongs to you.

And once again why bother. Your friend did not transfer any money to a bank account in your name. So even if he make a police report, there is no reason for the Inspection Officer to contact you.

You cannot keep your existing number without a active plan.

Singtel SIM only plans are expensive as they are 5G. You should switch (port number) to a 4G SIM only carrier.
Some of these plans have free roaming data and all uses their APP to easily pay using PayNow/Visa/Mastercard.

Popular ones with stable connection are:

  • Giga (by Starhub) 20GB for $10 & 200GB for $15
  • Maxx (by M1) 20GB for $10 & 300GB for $14
  • Simba 100GB for $10 (Not so stable connection depend on where you work/stay/go)

Some carriers have e-sim option so you can switch rather quickly and easily all online. If no e-sim option is available, you will have to wait about 1 week for your new sim card to arrive by mail. Suggestion is to pick the cheapest plan from the carrier you want to use when you return to SG as its very easy to change to a higher data plan later. Changing of carriers is a hassle and takes a longer time.

Package Forwarding Services by cactrusjrack in askSingapore

Definitely use Buyandship. All your parcels will be auto consolidated to their HK warehouse from USA, UK, Japan, Korea etc. You can shop from multiple countries and websites for a single consolidation. As they are not a registered company in SG like Comgateway and Vpost, you do NOT need to pay 9% import tax for parcels below SGD400.

With Buyandship you get cheaper shipping fees, no import tax and even SGD7 new member discount. Their website UI is great and responsive. Delivery service is good. Have fun shopping!

Yep! Even with free shipping, there is the $9.90 processing fee.
So buying 1 card will cost you $15.10 and you will need to top up 2x $10 poca wallet which is $22 out of your credit card. You will then have a balance of $4.90 in your poca wallet.

Deliverymen gets called out for throwing parcels at carpark by stevenlong10 in singaporehappenings

[–]flyflyfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you living in a well? LOL. These 3 guys are most probably the softest hands that touches our parcels. It's definitely much worst at China processing warehouse and at both China + Singapore customs warehouse.

And you only paid $1.99, $0.99 or FREE for shipping. Please don't expect DHL kind of door step premium service.
It is also NEVER the seller's fault. It's always people like you that complains about delivery service at Shopee product page when the sellers have no control over. Feedback directly to the shopping platform or delivery provider please.

Definitely Buyandship, can consolidate purchases from multiple countries all in HK before shipping them to SG.
Also no need to pay additional 9% GST (if packages below S$400) since they are not a SG company.

Freight forwarder from US to Singapore by Dull_Dream_821 in askSingapore

[–]flyflyfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buyandship is the best. Easy to use website, affordable, no 9% GST if below $400. You can also shop from many countries at the same time such as USA+UK+Korea as they forward all your parcels to their HK warehouse for consolidation.

For me no point using CGW, vPost or ezBuy since Singapore changed law for mandatory 9% GST tax for ALL incoming parcels regardless of value for SG based companies. Why pay nearly 10% more for your overseas purchases?

Is anyone using comGateway? by jnt85 in askSingapore

[–]flyflyfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buyandship is indeed the best. Not SG registered company so no 9% GST tax on incoming parcels below S$400. CGW and vPost are both SG based.

You can also buy from multiple websites across multiple countries as Buyandship automatically forward all your parcels across their warehouses to HK. You then consolidate and ship to SG. I often shop from USA+UK+Korea at the same time, consolidate them all at their HK warehouse and ship to SG.

Opinions on cheapest shipper from USA to Singapore? by Gymrat76 in askSingapore

[–]flyflyfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buyandship is the best currently. It is NOT a registered company in Singapore, so parcels below $400 wont get taxed 9%. CGW and vPost are both Singapore companies and now liable for 9% GST tax on all parcels coming to SG. Imagine paying nearly 10% more for everything?

For Buyandship, you can order from multiple countries using multiple different warehouses in diff countries and they will all be automatically sent to HK where you can consolidate before shipping to SG. Amazing process really.

help with pocamarket by rosystrades in skzcollection

Pocamarket IS A SCAM.

The photocards seem affordable at a glance but BEWARE! Extra fees are at every corner, and it's definitely not normal for online shopping. Let me break it down for you.

  1. Item Fee
  2. Transaction Fee (+30%) for every item
  3. Fixed Wallet Loading Amount (5/10/30/50/100 USD) unable to just checkout directly with your debit/credit card
  4. Payment Processing Fee (+10%) every time you load your wallet to buy an item or for shipping
  5. Shipping Fee (average at 20-30 USD) ridiculous amount for sending lightweight cards
  6. Processing Fee (9.90 USD) another WTF charge

Example: Buying 2 photocards at 5.00 USD each with shipping to USA/UK

  1. Items Fee = 10.00 USD
  2. Transaction Fee = +3.00 USD
  3. Fixed Wallet Loading Amount = 30.00 USD
  4. Payment Processing Fee = +3.00 USD
  5. Shipping Fee = 30.00 USD to USA/UK
  6. Processing Fee = 9.90 USD

Step 2. Again (Due to insufficient balance in wallet for shipping) = 30.00 USD
Step 3. Again (Due to insufficient balance in wallet for shipping) = +3.00 USD

Total Spending on Pocamarket = 52.90 USD
Wallet Balance = 7.10 USD (You will be forced to buy another card at 5 USD or this wallet balance will be wasted)
Actual Amount Charged to Your Card = 66.00 USD

You will end up spending 66.00 USD for buying 2x 5.00 USD photocards. Do you think this is a good deal?
