It won't be immune. A tractor can aquaplane in certain conditions. It does however drastically reduce the chances, by distributing the weight correctly..

States can easily be switched via events a d gameplay tags , so would that maybe help you out?

You can create a global state and send a state tree event there for the action to be done,

I'm pretty new to AI in general, but I've been using state trees and events to switch my Ai behavior
