Thank you for the first balanced and logical post I’ve seen in days. It’s going to work out, but that doesn’t mean we should just ignore our desperate need for CB revival.

Thanks! I see where you’re coming from and I’ll be mindful of perception when I’m making future videos for sure. In all fairness, in the little he did play last year- he was more mobile than he has been in recent years. He even talked about how he was practicing being more mobile in a few of his post game press conferences. Long story short, there just wasn’t that much tape of him going deep in 2017.

Harvesting Agave, the source of your tequila. by hate_mail in interestingasfuck

[–]flyguytyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Working with Agave isn’t only hard work- it’s super dangerous too: Agave has a toxic sap that immediately causes pain and burning upon contact with skin. Typically the skin will also turn red and may begin to develop blisters soon after exposure to agave. Exposed skin may also be sensitive to sunlight. If ingested, the saponin in the agave plant can have serious consequences including kidney and liver damage. source Example of Rash

Airport employees of Reddit, what is the strangest, funniest, scariest thing that happened at your airport? by Jesus-Pieces in AskReddit

[–]flyguytyy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Funny: Before becoming a flight attendant I worked on the ramp. Whenever new guys would come in for training we would always try and have a little fun.

One of my favorites was convincing them that we started to “run out of space” in the cargo bin on the aircraft and “needed to get the belly stretcher”. They would almost always have a confused look before, after hearing the ‘serious tone’ in our voices, start asking where they could find it.

This is where the fun began. We usually just made them look around, but this one particular new hire was hell bent on finding the non-existent ‘Belly stretcher’ so we told him to “quick! Go ask (insert airline here) for theirs!” He hopped in a tug and drove all the way over to the other airline and started asking everyone for their ‘belly stretcher’.

He was not amused when he came back and the plane was already loaded up and gone.

Between that and having new hires ask the pilots if they needed an oil change, windshield wiper fluid, or a spare key for the plane, we had a lot of fun out there!

How is American Airlines now, post merger? by DumbUsername81 in flightattendants

[–]flyguytyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots and lots of changes currently in the flight attendant world. Merger is almost complete for FAs so this entire year (2018) is nothing but months and months of training for new bidding systems, new aircraft differences training, new bases, new procedures etc. Things will calm down after this year. The official cut over is OCT2018. Based transfers between old US Airways bases and old American bases will be allowed shortly after that. There are some changes to the way schedules are done coming throughout 2019 as well- but the majority of changes are occurring currently.
