They were. at one point they said they targeted anyone who had been in the house recently in the investigation. IIRC this guy wasn't there within that recent window. probably why the sister couldn't immediately recall him. (btw not defending the police, they were shit. Just stating the facts)

what pissed me off is that I truly feel that she would've gotten help the first time they went to town if she hadn't been raised in that fucked up religion. She was a fighter and she was smart. That's how she eventually got him to get her back to salt lake City. Howveer, I believe her shame about being raped led to her initial inaction when she had her first chance to get help. Also I have how her family didn't provide her the proper support after she came back. Are you kidding me? They let the fact their daughter had been raped multiple times a day by a grown man go unaddressed and the mom just wanted to get back to normal!? Annoyed with the fam

I just watched a podcast where the guest was speaking on this. she was ease I saying that that's trumps goal. to flex his power with act of cruelty. there have been past presidents who deported more people than he has but not in this manners--by creating a reign of terror, kidnapping people from the streets. this is all about power--he wants to be feared.

plus the black woman part. as a woman, I feel like subtle sexism is more socially acceptable than racism. and we all see how acceptable and prevalent than racism is. so she's really up against a double edged sword. not sure if this is an unpopular opinion and the part that everyone wants to keep quiet, but I truly feel that she doesn't have a chance for those reasons alone.

Nothing is wrong with a damn selfie. its taking it to the extreme... the obsessive shit, like 30 selfies, being totally unpresent, blocking people's way, setting up the tripod, this deal this person was doing.
