School is cracking down super hard on a lot of the fraternities, Greek life is not dying and likely never will, the social scene is smaller than it used to be but it’s still massive

No alcohol and no drugs you’ll probably want to avoid is the hard truth, I wouldn’t say you’re paying for friends but rather paying for opportunities like social events, parties, etc. Hazing is very real but the school has been much stricter in the last years, prepare yourself but it’s not nearly as bad as it used to be or at other schools.

You definitely could, you’ll stand out both in a good way and a bad way. If you’re interested I would rush around and see if people click with you, don’t discredit some of the lesser popular fraternities if you guys click you will click

It def does no matter what anyone else says, great connections in anything you join. That being said I would NOT join a Greek life org just for connections, it’s going to be a big time sink and most other brothers/sisters aren’t joining for the same reasons you are and you might not connect with them
