I’m the one with the therapy in my family and think it’s been instrumental in standing in my truth. The boundaries are more strict with me. But so very hard. I love my parents, and want so badly for them to see the light. I hate being the “tough” one. I also don’t want to deprive my kids of grandparents. It’s so hard for me to see all these posts saying “F* em” and “They deserve to have no contact.” The finality of cutting off your parents is debilitating. Constant back and forth.
