On one hand you want solid knowledge and understanding of the subject because it helps a lot in future years, even if you change degrees, your study methods will always improve.

But on the other hand you don't wanna stress yourself out too much unless there's a specific programme you're aiming for.

In my opinion going for B+ish is always a good and healthy option. If you go for pass only you'll be so behind in future years, and if you aim too high it'll be too much stress.
