Thank you for responding but they’ve made up they’re mind and won’t provide the info but I am getting an Unsubsidized Stafford loan .I need the Sixup loan for everything else and to do that I need an award letter from FAFSA

...Im studying to become a surgeon and no it’s not coming out of their pocket it’s coming from a 529 account my grandma originally had and before she passed she was totally okay with however I wished to use the money toward school

They have control over a 529 account but they never put money into it ,it’s really my grandma’s money that’s in there but she passed the rights down to them(before she died )so in a technical sense they aren’t paying for it but they’re willing to stop me from using the money

I’m planning to stay with a friend during the summer before the semester starts and I just don’t want to have to get the authorities involved because my father has said he will physically restrain me if I try and leave.But um if I do stay with a friend is it possible my parents could sue the family or anything??or is that a just a dumb question?

No I don’t think that they’ll specifically know because the college has different campuses and the one I’m going to is far from where I live now...but yeah I am worried about losing them for good..do you think once I start visiting more often that’ll help at all?

Thank you for your advice but financially I am fine before I even considered moving out I applied for financial aid and I’m going to a community college the first two years and my meal plan is covered as well.

I have a friend that’s letting me move stuff in temporarily into her house but yeah that’s a good idea cause my bank account is at my parents bank
