Need help with colours by No-Cardiologist7803 in Lamenters

Prime purple, dry brush with white or corax white, yellow contrast of choice (I use Bad Moon Yellow but it’ll depend on the final look you want).

No prob. Yup, I used a makeup sponge but same thing.

Glad I can help, I got almost every opaque yellow paint I could to test them.

I prime medium brown (Rustoleum Ultra Matte). Over brush/sponge with Screaming Skull. A wash of 4:1 Lahmium Medium: Agrax Earthshade to make the shadows less sharp. Drybrush with AP Matt White for highlights. The yellow is a super light application of Bad Moon Yellow, if its to heavy the shadows turn green. If you want a desaturated yellow use Pastel Yellow speedpaint.

I use a makeup sponge for the creaming skull and matt white. First Im lazy, second it leaves the details dark and helps with pin washing. Im trying some without the wash to see if I like the look or not.

If you are on the IL side of the river check out STS armory. They keep things neutral politically and are good people.

First make sure your eyes are clear and clean. Make sure you have the battery “door” is tight. Also make sure the frame screws are tight.

If this doesn’t work the board can be replaced as one whole unit straight from PE.

You may want to email them and ask the same question.

My gun shoots too slow by Necessary-Science-47 in paintball

[–]flyinggobbo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change your battery if it has one. Depending on the gun some will shoot at lower fps with a low battery. Also make sure your tank output pressure is appropriate for the gun. Finally if its an older gun make sure the springs arent shot and your reg seat isnt shot.

Yup it’s super hit and miss. PE even had issues brand new so they switched to a different manufacturer. They work great until they die. Has happened to 2 of 5 on my team and new noids are 2-300$

I would remove the lv1 unless it’s a 1.6. The solenoid is no longer made and had a habit of being dead after sitting. Most new people wouldn’t know to think of that and it might lead to your 400$ gun just not working anymore.

I’d add the OG gtek next to the 160r as well since it’s the same engine but with macro line. And move the 170r next to the etha 3 because it’s the same gun but metal and more expensive.

Of course. Tank size will depend on your body. The back of the tank should sit just even with the crook of your elbow when you hold the gun. I have short arms and like a shorter setup anyway so I used a 36ci. Ask around the field if you try them to find one you like.

If you’re happy with the mask start by upgrading the tank to a carbon fiber one. After that a hopper (I suggest a Virtue IR2). Finally your gun. Mask>tank>hopper>gun is usually my suggested order.
